Mrs. Meena Malik (Manager, CFS) accepting the Award	SCHOOL MANAGEMENT AWARD Cambridge Foundation School, was conferred with the School Management Award 2009, on the occasion of the World Management Congress on 31st December 2009, at the India International Centre. The award is for outstanding contribution in the area of Education Planning and School Management. The award has been instituted by the Global Open University, Nagaland and Confederation of Indian Universities, New Delhi.

Chairperson Mrs.. Sheila Verma Felicitated The CFS Chairperson Mrs. Sheila Verma was honoured with the Maharishi Patanjali Smriti Rashtriya Manav Ratna Samman by the Hon'ble Chief Minister Mrs. Sheila Dixit, at an award function held at Teen Murti Auditorium, organized by Manav Kalyan Yog Va Prakratik Chikitsa Avam Siksha Sansthan, in recognition of her outstanding contributions to the field of education, sports and humanitarian activities.

	Principal, Mrs. Anita Puri Receives the Global Human Rights Protection Award 2008 Our School Principal, Mrs. Anita Puri was awarded with the 2008 Global Human Rights Protection Award, at the 10th World Human Right Congress. The ceremony organized by the Indian Institute of Human Rights, on 10th December 2008., on the occasion of the 60th Anniversary of The Declaration of Human Rights. She received the award from HE Mr. Carlos A. Yrigoyen, Acting Ambassador of Peru to India, for her outstanding work in the field of education and activities associated with providing education to under privileged students. The event was event attended by Ambassadors, High Commissioners, United Nations Diplomats, and Human Rights Activists.

Congratulations Abhishek Harish !! Abhishek Harish (Batch 2010) has done the School proud by scoring a near perfect SAT Score - Physics - 800 / 800 Chemistry - 780 / 800 Mathemtics - 770 / 800 As you may be aware that SAT Subject Tests is the name for 20 multiple-choice standardized tests given on individual subjects, usually taken to improve a student's credentials for admission to colleges in the United States. Students typically choose which tests to take depending upon college entrance requirements for the schools to which they are planning to apply. Until 1994, the SAT Subject Tests were known as Achievement Tests, and until January 2005, they were known as SAT IIs; they are still commonly known by these names. Every test is now a one-hour timed test.



Kudos Ruchi Gupta. Ruchi Gupta, Ex Cambridgean, has done the school proud. She passed out in 1998, and joined St. Stephens College. Later she got admission into IIT Kanpur. Ruchi completed her Doctorate in Philosophy with an Award of Excellence at Stony Brook University, State of New York, USA. She is at present a Post Doctoral Associate at the Rockefeller University, New York.

Charitable at Heart Bhawna Verma & Ashriya Dogra donated Rs. 5000 and Rs. 3000 to an AIDS Foundation. This was the prize money they had won an Inter School Drawing Competition	Bhawna Verma	Ashriya Dogra

Click on the Image Above	INTERNATIONAL SPACE SETTLEMENT DESIGN COMPETITION Ashish Srivastava of XI A, has made the school proud. He has been selected to represent one of the teams of Asia in the International Space Settlement Design Competition, organised by NASA, USA. He cleared the semi-finals in which there were over 400 competitors from all over the world. The Chairperson, Mrs. Sheila Verma has provided him with a PC and a Broadband Internet Connection, to assist him in his research and project work. Ashish Srivastava has been selected as Team Leader of a team of 40 students from all over the world. He is to travel to NASA, USA, to work the Space Settlement Project in 2009.

NIE Student of the Year Award Shefali Wadha of Class X, was awarded the News Paper In Education - Student of the Year Award, by the Times of India Group. She received a Cheque for Rs.1000/- and also a trophy by the organization.

Kudos Dinesh Chand Sagar, IPS, CVO, CCI, Mumbai Ex Cambridgean Mr. Dinesh Chand Sagar, was awarded the Police Gallantry Medal by His Excellency, The President of India on 15th August 2008.
