Raksha Bandhan celebrates the bond of love, care, and togetherness between siblings. At Cambridge Foundation School, students from Classes 1 to 5 marked the occasion with enthusiasm and creativity.
The celebration began with a vibrant special assembly by Class 1, featuring lively dance performances and a Rakhi Making Activity. Students showcased their talent and festive spirit, creating a joyful atmosphere. Classes 2, 3, and 4 engaged in Rakhi Making and Tying Activities, using colourful threads, beads, and ribbons to design handmade rakhis. These activities encouraged creativity, patience, and appreciation for traditional values. Class 3 also viewed a short video highlighting the cultural significance of the festival.
Class 5 combined Rakhi Making with heartfelt Card Making for siblings, expressing affection through thoughtful messages and designs.
Across all grades, the celebration beautifully blended cultural learning with creativity, reinforcing the values of love, respect, gratitude, and family bonding.
