Cambridge Foundation School organised the Farewell Ceremony for the outgoing students of Class XII on the morning of 17th January 2026 in the School Auditorium. The programme was graced by the esteemed presence of the Manager, Dr. Anita Puri; the Principal, Mr. J. Venkatesh; and the Vice Principal, Ms. Seema Khetarpal. Former Mr. & Miss Cambridge, Tanishq Galhotra and Navya Dhall, also attended the ceremony.
The event commenced with the ceremonial Lighting of the Lamp, symbolising knowledge, positivity, and new beginnings. This auspicious beginning set a dignified and celebratory tone for the occasion.
The programme featured a series of well-curated cultural performances that added vibrancy and enthusiasm to the celebration. A melodious singing performance enthralled the audience, followed by graceful and energetic dance presentations by the students. These performances not only showcased the talent and creativity of the students but also ensured a smooth flow between the various segments of the ceremony.
A number of titles were conferred upon deserving students in recognition of their achievements and qualities. The title The Pride of CFS was awarded to Sarsij Srivastava of Class XII E. The title Debate Pro was bagged by Bhargavi Narang of Class XII D, while Sifat Kaur was also honoured for her analytical excellence. The title Well-Dressed Boy was awarded to Deepansh Mehra of Class XII A, and Well-Dressed Girl was conferred upon Sanchi Chopra of Class XII C. The dignitaries felicitated the students and motivated them with their encouraging words.
The much-anticipated segment of the ceremony, Mr. & Ms. Cambridge 2026, was conducted with great enthusiasm. The participants showcased confidence and poise during the ramp walk and self-introduction round, followed by an engaging question-and-answer session. Sarsij Srivastava of Class XII E and Palak Matta of Class XII C were crowned Mr. Cambridge 2026 and Ms. Cambridge 2026 respectively.
The celebration concluded on a joyful note with students and teachers coming together for a dance session, followed by lunch. The Farewell Ceremony was a memorable occasion, marking the culmination of the students’ school journey and wishing them success in their future endeavours.
